Using Padlet to collect answers, ask students to participate in a classroom chat title
how do you know act when you meet a stranger?
After reviewing answers, explain to students that the same rules apply when we work on computers.
Recode
Students will watch the Internet Safety video on brainpop
Brainstorm some dos and don'ts
(don't share your name, pictures, address, email, birthday, etc.)
(do ask an adult when unsure of someone contacting you)
Student Activity
As a class, come up with 3 top rules for online privacy sharing (teacher should write them down on a large poster).
Students will illustrate one of the rules using TuxPaint by making a poster advocating Internet Privacy.
